(Acting) Minister of Public Enterprises - Prime Minister Hon. Hu'akavameiliku
Pursuant to the Ports Authority Act, the Authority is governed by a
- Board of Directors, which consists of a Chairman, Deputy Chairman and Directors (members) who shall be appointment by the Minister of Public Enterprises, with the consent of Cabinet. See current Board of Directors
- General Manager (Chief Executive Officer) of the Authority is the secretary of the Board.
- Port Master is responsible for all vessels on the port — (a) direct where any vessel shall be berthed, moored or anchored and the method of anchoring; (b) direct the removal of any vessel from any berth, wharf, terminal or anchorage and the time within which such removal is to be effected; and (c) regulate the movement of vessels generally
- Chief Financial Officer of the Authority appointed by the Board, to establish and maintain financial accounts and records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and in accordance with the provision relevant regulations and Acts
- Staff of the Authority- (1) The General Manager may from time to time appoint and employ on such terms and conditions as the Board may determine, such other officers and employees as may be necessary for the effective performance of its objectives and functions.
